Llandeilo Colours

I’ve driven into Llandeilo many times over the years and the best road into town takes you over the 19th-century stone bridge which spans the River Tywi and up past the town houses built up the hill. Whenever I drive over the bridge, I’ve always admired the skill the Engineers had back then and wondered how they built such a perfect arch. The houses in close proximity were probably stone mason houses that had something to do with the build as they also have a certain quality about them. It’s such a lovely image to paint.
