The weather around Snowdonia can change quickly, often shaping the day’s plans and transforming the landscape with shifting light and atmosphere. Whether sketching a mountain path or a coastal village, there is always inspiration to be found.

Aberffraw, on the southwest coast of Anglesey, is especially inspiring for artists because of its dramatic scenery, rich history, and unique coastal light. The pastel coloured cottages, historic stone bridge, and peaceful shoreline provide perfect subject matter for landscape painting and sketching.
