Pipers Cottage

I love to walk up the Garn Fawr mountain which has a rocky volcanic outcrop with magnificent views over the north coast of Pembrokeshire. The outcrop of stones are the county's most spectacular Iron Age landscapes which was formed millions of years ago. Garn Fawr is a high point on this stretch of the north coast of Pembrokeshire which looks over Strumble Head Light House, but on the south side it protects two classic Pembrokeshire Cottages which have withstood the test of time. I particularly like painting these cottages because the upper cottage was once used as a studio by the late John Piper.
