The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path from Caerfai Beach to Porthclais Harbour is a popular walk as it has stunning views overlooking rocky cliffs and sandy beaches and a short distance to St Davids. I tend to go to this part of the coast out of season as the roads are narrow and carparks are full in the school holiday. Always a good place to have a picnic with sketch pad and watch the coastal birds battle against the Westerly Winds.
All that remains of St Non’s Chapel is a few crumbling walls, but it is nevertheless a significant holy and cultural site. Its location, on the edge of the Pembrokeshire coast with one of the most stunning stretches of coastline overlooking the St Brides Bay adds to the chapel’s spiritual charge. The remains are said to be the 6th century birthplace of the patron saint of Wales, St David, it is named after his mother and remains a place of pilgrimage to this day.
The small stone chapel may be very plain and simple, but its presents overlooking the St Non’s Bay is stunning with panoramic views toward Broad Haven
