Sunset over Abercastell

There are moments in life that cannot be planned only discovered. As I arrived at Abercastell, the sun was beginning its final descent beyond the horizon, and suddenly the entire coastline came alive with golden light. It felt like a once in a lifetime chance to witness something truly unrepeatable. The sea shimmered like molten glass, reflecting deep gold, amber, and fire across the quiet bay. Every cliff, every ripple of water, every shadow seemed painted by nature itself for only a few fleeting moments before nightfall.
I had arrived at exactly the right time.
As an artist, you wait for light like this, light that transforms an ordinary evening into something unforgettable. The colours poured across the landscape so perfectly that it felt impossible not to paint it, not to capture at least a small piece of that disappearing beauty before the sun slipped away. For those few minutes, Abercastell became more than a place.
It became a living painting of gold, silence, and light at the edge of the world.
