As a child, Beddglert and the surrounding area was our camping ground for our summer holidays. A place of culture, legends and historic stories and is probably Snowdonia’s loveliest village. The bridge in the village was our lookout for canoeists nestled between houses hidden below the mountains. I must go back again and sketch the old village houses.
