Mavagisey

Mevagisey is a great spot for exploring the sheltered coves and fishing villages of the St Austell Bay area of Cornwall's south coast.

I did a road trip in Cornwall several years ago and Mevagisey was firmly on the itinerary. This little Cornish town has a beautiful harbour and fishing boats. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to capture this blue shed framing the harbour and paint it.

I spent the day walking around the harbour, taking advantage of the amazing viewpoints and watching the boats come home with the daily catch. I must go back and paint the rest of the harbour.
