From Cwm-yr-Eglwys there is a lovely circular headland walk with some steep sections around Dinas Island, which has some of the best panoramic views of the North Pembrokeshire coast across both Newport and Fishguard bays.

Above the beach are the ruins of St Brynach’s Church, which was destroyed by a storm during October 1859 and the only evidence of the church now left on display is the one remaining gable wall which stands directly above the sea wall. The Churchyard surrounding the wall provides a small area where you can sit and enjoy the view of the beach with cliffs to each side. It’s a beautiful place to relax and take in the unspoilt view on a sunny day. However, I don’t know if I’d like to be standing on the sea wall during any storm conditions as the village is so isolated and difficult to access. This is probably the smallest coastal village in Pembrokeshire and one not to be missed.
