New Original Paintings being added!

My Upcoming Exhibition at Lion Street Gallery, Hay-on-Wye

My next exhibition at Lion Street Gallery in Hay-on-Wye in October features paintings inspired by sketches I made during my journey along Ireland’s spectacular Wild Atlantic Way.

During my travels, I filled countless sketchbooks with scenes that captured the beauty, character, and atmosphere of this remarkable coastline. Back in the studio, these sketches became a series of paintings that I believe reflect the landscape at its very best.

My time there was far too short I could easily have spent months exploring and painting. The Wild Atlantic Way is a place that offers endless inspiration, with its dramatic scenery changing beautifully through every season. It is a landscape that stays with you long after you’ve left.

Alongside the original paintings, I have produced three Artist’s Proof prints, each available in a limited edition of just ten. I intentionally keep my editions small, making each print more exclusive and highly collectable.

Among the collection is Keem Beach, one of Ireland’s most iconic locations, with its solitary white cottage overlooking a stunning crescent of sand and crystal-clear water. Another favourite is Doolin, celebrated for its colourful cottages and unmistakable charm.

However, the painting that perhaps best captures the spirit of the Wild Atlantic Way is The Narrow Lane. These winding country lanes, bordered by rugged stone walls and scattered with ancient boulders, lead quietly to isolated homes and hidden farms. They speak of a timeless Ireland, where the landscape and those who live within it have existed in harmony for generations.

I look forward to sharing this collection and hope these paintings convey some of the unforgettable memories and inspiration I found along Ireland’s magnificent west coast.
